Guido. Just Guido. That's how he'll introduce himself and there's nothing really more to say because after you get to know him, that name will bring up images that you won't soon forget. Guido is the ultimate hot rodder. Uber hot rodder, if you will. He's got more than ten cars and motorcycles at any given moment and each is a unique statement unto itself. Guido is one of those rare individuals that has turned a hobby into a way of life. When not collecting a paycheck he's moving, jockeying, promoting, painting, cleaning and wrenching on his Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Buick, Chevy, Kaiser, Ford, Chrysler, or the Von Zipper Red Baron Tribute car. And when he's not doing that, he's getting tattooed, hitting up car shows or playing the drums with Charlie Roman and the Teenage Werewolves. Busy...that's an understatement. But that's who Guido is. He's living the life we all secretly want. One that's filled with maniacal toys that light up, go fast and are a little dangerous. Everyone is gladly invited to join in on the car crazy sideshow which is Camp Guido, just be ready to help push a car or two around the yard or....wait what's that you say? You have some extra space in your garage? Buddy you just made a new friend. ---(Article: "Grandmaster Guido by Dan Stoner from the premiere issue of "Garage Magazine", adapted, shortened and updated by Pocket Nick.)

I don’t know if he is still performing? (I surely hope not) but we were talked into letting EXTREME ELVIS play at Bottom of the Hill. What a disaster!!! EXTREME ELVIS took the stage in a one piece Elvis suit, butchered every song possible during the 2nd song he wiggles out of his suit and is standing on stage in just a condom. Mind you he pushing 300 pounds, NOT A PRETTY SIGHT. The show just keeps going on, not much later he begins fingering his asshole (even though he’s a big one and yes...
Yes my first day on the job they threw me right into the fire. It was the night after a Tree Tibet concert in Golden Gate Park. All the bands that played the festival were on the guest list, 100 plus people or so (that’s a big guest list) the band is on Royal Crown records. Butter was the headliner. As the who’s who of the festival in the park showed up we also were able to sell a few tickets to the lucky ones. Now this is quite the change from the jazz/supper club that I had worked at...
It starts with Live 105 renting out the club (we love there sponsored shows_ for a secret show. Turns out its THE MARS VOLTA! COOL, so cool. I’ve seen them before, fun times. I’ve been a fan of At The Drive In. SO the day starts with solo much equipment it won’t all fit on stage, so they set up on the floor in the middle of the club. This lowers our capacity considerably. LIVE 105 rented the club so they could give away 100 tickets only. Guess who got to hand out the golden tickets? It...
