Hey buddy. I'm sorry you haven't heard from me yet. I have not had the chance to get up to Atlanta yet. We are however moving there in mid January. I will be doing music full time once I get there. Perhaps we can work on some things then if you are still interested. I have some new music also if you get a chance to listen. I hope all is well. Your friend, Jim
Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad to see cali kids enjoying our music. Check back w/ us soon...im gonna load some more songs on to the page this week. We have about 60 songs so there is a lot more to listen too. Stay up!
Thank you for adding Lyden Moon to your favorites list and for the comments. It may sound like we were born with instruments in our hands (well maybe Lyden). As you know it all comes with hard work. Lyden picks things up instantly and I have to bust my ass to keep up with him. Thanks again for the comments. I'll be checking your material out soon once I'm on my PC.... laptop speakers suck. As for being in Atlanta....it's not in our plans for the immediate future but we love to plan road trips. We are talk about a trip out west this summer. We try and network with other musicians to set these trips up so hope we can keep in touch and see where that goes.
I'm not cringing on the contrary, I take that as a great compliment. Thank you for your kind words and look forward to communicating more through music and thought, peace and much love Jostel
PEOPLE LOVE ME. CAUSE I AM THE GREATEST, ONE OF THE FEW. BUT YOU CAN'T COMPARE ME WITH MY BROTHERS, TALKING ABOUT ALL THE MC'S AND SINGERS. JUST COMPARE THE MESSAGE THAT COMES OUT THE MUSIC. THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN FOR VISITING.
my album "My Life, My Story" in stores Feb, 16, 08
I believe that, as you say, building the fan base first is key to building up in time the necessary "velocity of social capital" that can be monetized in meaningful amounts [and perhaps in unexpected ways by selling "around the music" [as jeff says].
Without "velocity", small amounts remain small; but with velocity [as the financiers have noted - "using a vacuum cleaner to sweep up many nickles and dimes"] small amounts can add up to provide enough for artists to make a living. Thus, Artists should focus on earning an MBR rather than an MBA [actually, this is true for all entrepreneurs].
Check us out if you get a chance
Peace
