I never know what to put in the 'About You' section of these sites. Does anyone really care? I know that I usually don't. So I guess if you would like to know anything about me just ask me. In my experience this usually doesn't happen either but whatever.
OK, at the bequest of Abigail.... I am a 28 year old college student attending Keene State College in Keene, NH. I am majoring in journalism and minoring in political science. This is the perfect place for me since all of the presidential candidates come through town. I really enjoy confronting them on major issues pertinent to our times. I recently ran the racist and corrupt Republican candidate Duncan Hunter out of an event with a camera in his face asking about why he blocked the investigation into Abu Ghraib and whether or not he was one of the next in line to go down with the Duke Cunningham scandal and if this had anything to do with the firing of prosecutor Carol Lam. He questioned my patriotism and called me irresponsible which is the highest compliment I could have hoped for coming from this scumbag.
I am interested in doing documentaries which will crumble the foundation of our system as it stands and really bring the power back to the peoples hands and out of the hands of multi-national global corporations.
I think that this country would do well to elect a female or 'minority' candidate to the presidential office but I am not a fan of Barack or Hillary. I think that they have both been compromised. I adctually do not like much of anything I see in this presidential field. The one shining star that I do see is Bill Richardson from New Mexico. Check him out as he at least has foreign relations experience, which we desperately need to undo some of the damage which has been done by President Cheney. He was also very down to earth and realistic when I met him. He was in town helping a local woman take on an incumbent state senate president. She won btw.
I am also happy to be in school with people younger than myself so that i can show them how much power they have if they use their voices for a good purpose.
And I know this is a music site so I will get off the political thing for now but thank you for listening. And Abigail if there is anything else you would like to know just ask mme. LOL.
Oh I am currently working on a documentary about Dorris 'Granny D' Haddock who walked across the country several years ago, at the age of 89, to reaise awareness of campaign finance reform. I did a two hour interview earlier this year with Pete Seeger and it was one of the most incredible events of my life.
Look into Granny D. She is one of the bravest women I have ever encountered. She was arrested for reading the Constitution in Congress. When she went before the judge she said 'Thank God I wasn't reading the Bill of Rights'. The judge threw the case out of court.
