blog Who the F**k does this guy think he is?
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080710/ap_on_go_co/rove_subpoena

His sorry ass needs to be arrested asap... if he isn't it's going to send a very bad message to us, that basically this group of the administration's quasi-elite knob slobbers are above the law, above the constitution, give the finger to this thing called justice... man... (sigh)

"Rove says he is bound to follow the White House's guidance, although he has offered to answer questions specifically on the Siegelman case — but only with no transcript taken and not under oath."

- are you fucking kidding me?

Ummmmmmmmmm....he dified a subpoena and resfused to testify. Legally he is in contempt and should be arrested!!! You're right, who does this guy think he is? Well obviously he believes he is above the law and is protected by Bush's slap ass administration!!!! Haha...he did in a way give the finger to Justice!!! What about his emails??? Come on, this guy has to go down eventually but not when this adminstration is still around.

Btw.......did you hear that they are FINALLY bringing charges of genocide to the Sudan President!!!! He claims he will come and answer these charges but I will be really surprised if he does. If he doesn't, he will have to hide out in his country otherwise he will get arrested!

Rove's lawyers assert that he is immune to said supoena under the "executive privilidge"...which is bullshit!

Democrat, and Rep. Linda Sanchez, a California Democrat stated the following:

"We are unaware of any proper legal basis for Mr. Rove's refusal to even appear today as required by the subpoena," Sanchez said Thursday morning when Rove failed to show up. "The courts have made clear that no one -- not even the president -- is immune from compulsory process. That is what the Supreme Court rules in U.S. v. Nixon and Clinton v. Jones."

@Christine Loves Philly!:

Here are some supporting notes on Compulsory Process.

I find this especially interesting from the above link:

"The provision requires, of course, that the defendant be afforded legal process to compel witnesses to appear, 186 but another apparent purpose of the provision was to make inapplicable in federal trials the common-law rule that in cases of treason or felony the accused was not allowed to introduce witnesses in his defense."

@Fathead: SPOT ON!!!

Compulsory Process:

"The method employed by which a person wanted as a witness, or for some other purpose, in a civil or criminal action is forced to appear before the court hearing the proceeding.

Compulsory process encompasses not only a subpoena, which is a command to appear at a particular time and location to provide testimony upon a certain matter, but also a bench warrant, which is a written order commanding a law enforcement officer to seize the person named and bring that person into court."

After reading the above...I find it irreprehensible that Rove has not been arrested!!
