In conjunction with their stop in the bay area next week on Nov. 1st @ The Boom Boom Room in SF. This week's video show is of an amazing jazz band from Seattle called DAS VIBENBASS. They are on tour now and stopping by on Nov. 1st. It's going to be a really sweet show, you don't want to miss...

New Look is sweet! I've goot some learning to do here...like:
When creating a mixtape, how do I search for a particular artist that I know is on Fuzz already, without having to try and figure out what class of genre's to look through to find them? Also, how do I grab a song from one of my older playlist to put on a mixtape?

The FLAMING LIPS are one of the most colorful, creative, and unique bands on the planet, in my opinion at least... I love these guys! Here we go ...
"Be My Head" from the Transmissions from the Satellite Heart CD :
"Turn It On" from the same album as above :
Going back further in time to around 1991 when Jonathan Donahue (from Mercury Rev) was still on lead guitar, here is the video for "Unconsciously Screaming" from In a Priest Driven Ambulance, very cool...
Not too long ago an incredibly talented and unique jazz band from Seattle named DAS VIBENBASS, sent me a "friend request" on super-saturated-space dot com. I was instantly blown away at their sound and how good they are! These guys are the real deal. Very cool band! I persuaded them to join Fuzz, they did, and so far it seems like a lot of Fuzzies are digging them. Well, now they are on tour and their stop here in San Francisco is at The Boom Boom Room on Nov. 1st!! Do your ears...
In conjunction with their stop in SF this coming Wed. 10/17 @ 12 Galaxies, I thought for this Friday, I would feature Fuzz's own USSA. USSA is Paul Barker(MINISTRY), Gary Call, Duane Denison(JESUS LIZARD, TOMAHAWK), & Johnny Rabb. USSA is bad ass!! I've always dug Duane's guitar style from the Jesus Lizard days and Tomahawk (another fav of mine). It should be a great show next week, if you're in the area, I would strongly suggest being there...
1st : "Cruel...
CAREFUL now, don't let this happen to you! ;>o
*appologies in advance for anyone grossed out by my occaisonal twisted sense of humor :>)
BECK is the man. Incredible song writer, performer, front man, the band(s) always kick ass! His style goes so many different places but it is still always BECK every time, in one way or another...very distinctive, and so damn cool... Cheers and happy Friday!
This first song is awesome! Kind of a 70's game show funk type of thing ... "Sexx Laws"
Sweet performance of "The New Pollution" !!
Next we change it up a bit and check out an amazing performance of...
The dawn of a new phase of FLitCH has just arrived. I never gave much thought of incorporating vocals into FLitCH when I first started the writing process for it back in the summer of 2006. I was just totally into the art of "sculpting sound". I had a lot of emotions to get out at that time, and wanted to use music as an outlet. A little over a year later (now basically) I ran into a friend of mine named Tobias at the Art and Soul festival in Oakland. Our former band(s) had played a...
...sorry I missed the Friday video. Had a 1/4 inventory day at work, a semi - family "crisis" thing to attend to afterwards, and then went out of town... realized that Sept. 28th was the day I arrived in CA three years ago. Started thinking about a lot of stuff... I was listening to A Perfect Circle in the car on the way back, so I think I will put some videos of them up now. I'll be doing one for Tool as well sometime in the future. APC is an amazing treat to see live, if you...
