My apologies for getting all negative and mad earlier, now I am back. I did some research on the Albany Bulb situation today, and found out that the art is fine right now, but they're indeed kicking out the homeless people that live/camp there. I'm not sure what the big deal is. It's not like there is a population problem at the Bulb or anything. All the times I've been there over the past year and half, I have encountered 2 homeless people, and they were nice as can be...

Fuck!!! Man... (excuse my foul mouth), but I am now pissed ... One of my favorite little "sanctuary" places to write, hike, think, look at incredibly good art, relax, is close to where I live, etc... and I have gotten involved with recently, has now quite possibly seen it's last days... The Albany Bulb that I blogged about herea while back is now in serious danger of changing to that "safer society-conformed park" I was talking about in the blog, and Osha Neumann...

For the # 2 Firday video spotlight, since I'm feeling rather energetic and lively, I chose Queens Of The Stone Age... Rock! Every member in QOTSA is just bad ass at what they do. Great example of a great live band. Great seperation of tonality, great vocal melodies, and harmonies, always tight... If you ever get a chance to see them live (if you haven't already), do it, it is well worth it... Friday spirited music for sure... Crank it up if you can... Have a great weekend...

The Albany Bulb Waterfront in Albany CA, is a haven for cool art of all forms. A lot of people already know this, but a lot don't as well. It is at the very end of Buchanan St. in Albany CA if you were headed towards the bay, past the horse tracks (right off I - 80). It is a small peninsula that sticks out into the bay, where the view of Marin and Mt. Tam is amazing. It was once an industrial landfill decades ago, but that was stopped in 1988 or 89, not sure exactly(see 1st video for that...

Uugghh, I thought I was done doing this to myself years ago... Went to see Brian Jonestown Massacre last night at the Independent... Good show, usual Anton antics, put back a few (too many - hey my buddy was buying, so I was drinkin) got home @ 2:30 ish am, got up @7:45 am ... ouch, now I'm paying my debt... :>( - Need an anthem for slow motion Wednesday...
