Long time no blog!

I had a great time at Warped Tour. My cousin and I got some good video. I took mostly pictures because my phone doesn't record all that well. But I saw a bunch a bands. These are the bands I saw.

MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) asks ESRB to rerate Rockstar's game Adults Only over inebriation simulation.

I posted my thoughts in the article in the news section on GameSpot. This is what I wrote: "It's rated M for Mature. I can see why they are mad, (No pun intended) but the real problem is the people that drink and drive. Stop shifting blame from peoples horrible mistakes onto games. Why doesn't MADD do something more useful by actually spreading the word about drunk driving like those Truth commercials do for cigs? There are better ways to get your point across MADD and this isn't one of them."

Now that my rant is over I have put my old router to sleep. I took it out back and shot it (Not really, I just put it back in its box). It stopped working so I bought a new one. The new one looks like a stealth bomber...I'll post a picture of it later. Other then that I'm really starting to detox off my meds. My hands started to shake and my blood pressure rose really high two nights ago. I had a weird panic attack too. I just had to get a drink and slow down. I don't even know what the heck I was panicing about. But other then that things have been going the same. I've just been finishing up school work and playing games when I get a chance.

I also just uploaded a picture with me without the mask. So get ready to see me with out a mask. In 3,2,1...

Well anyway I'm off for the day/night...whatever time it is.

Today is boring but good. + Some new adds.

Well I finally went through my hundreds of CDs to see what I wanted to get rid of. I was running out of room for them. So I traded in atleast 10 CDs and got $20.00 dollars. With that $20.00 dollars I bought the movie Death Sentence, bought two cds and bought Soul Claibur 2.

I was expecting more from Death Sentence because it got such high praises from friends. At the end I just felt like.."Well what else do I have to watch?" It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. Just a lot of cursing and shoot outs with a hint of a suspected plot. Here is the cover for Death Sentence.

The two CDs I bought were OK Go's CD "Oh No" and Third Eye Blinds first CD. Here is the artwork for both CDs.

So since I have been playing Soul Calibur on the Dreamcast I have started to get back into the series. I went out and bought the 2nd one for the PS2. I works pretty well. It just has some slow down issues on the PS3. Knowing me I'll probably buy 3 and 4 soon. Here is the cover.

Well today has been boring. I finally got the internet to run again. My router decided to hate me for the past two days. So I had to slap it and say "NO! THAT'S A BAD ROUTER! STOP IT!" It was in that order. I also went and payed off Haze. So I'll see you all online when that comes out. Other then that nothinig has really happened. Just been trying to keep my head above water by finishing some school work. As I type this my dog is laying next to me just chilling and snoring so freaking loud. But that's fine with me. I can only imagine how loud I am playing video games. On a side note I have noticed I'm doing better without half of my meds. So improvements for the win! I'll also be doing some moving around for friends and family since I'm the only one with a truck. So it'll be nice to see some cash coming in again. Well I'm off and I'll keep you all updated on what's going on in my life if my Internet doesn't wimp out on me.

Health break + Some good buys = Me on couch

So I'm out of school right now for a health break. So during this break I went out and got some stuff I've been wanting to get for awhile now.

I finally imported and got Billy Talents live CD/DVD "666". Billy Talent is awesome in general. But this live CD and DVD makes it just right. I also like how they didn't dubb the live stuff. It's all raw and uncut. So import this CD when you get a chance if you like their stuff. I imported it from Canada. You might be able to find it at Best Buy though. They seem to be importing stuff more often now. Here is the cover art.

I'll admit it. I'm a Motion City Soundtrack fan. I bought their first album "I Am The Movie" when it first came out and I didn't like it. Now I have grown to really like them. I guess the more I "Grow up" the more I seem to like them. The other Album I have is their "Even If It Kills Me". But I finally got the cash to buy the "Deluxe Edition" of their 2nd album "Commit This to Memory". So it came with a additional song that is pretty good and nice live DVD/Documentary. Here is the cover art.

But my best find was the complete collection of Cowboy Bebop. It's also unsencord. So I can finally see the bloody shoot outs that they cut out of the Adult Swim versions. For some reason this series has pulled me in. But I now have every episode availible! It's been fun watching all the episodes again. I think the last time I saw Cowboy Bebop was when Adult Swim was actually still good. Which was awhile back. I have gone through 4 out of 6 disks in two days. I also got it at cheap price brand new. I only had to pay $50.00 dollars for it. Here is the cover art.

Well I'll just stop trying to dodge what I have been trying to talk about. I finally kinda got a hint that this might be the end of the trip of Bipolar (Good and bad). My Doctor is slowly taking me off every medicine I'm on. But the reason why is because I'm still having the horrible cycles. I have also gone numb again some more. Ever since the incident where I lost all feeling in my legs my toes have been completely numb. Now it seems all my fingers are now numb. The only way I can feel my fingers is when I crack my knuckles. So about 2 days ago I punched a wall with full force untill I could feel the pain in my hands. That took about 3 to 5 minutes. So now my hands are bruised and my knuckles are kinda grey. But I was mostly punching the wall because I was mad. My Doctor has pretty much given up on me. He told me that I should probably go see another doctor. I have been seeing this guy since I was nine. He knows about my whole life. He just dropped a bomb. My doctor almost cried when he told me that. I think he felt he failed me. He has known me for 9 years. I guess it's tough to see all your work go down the drain. I wasn't pleased either by that or the fact that since that I have tried almost all meds doctors want to try shock therapy on me. Which is basically they give me laughing gas and they give my brain a seizure. It's kinda like jump starting a car I guess. But I keep on thinking the book "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" which has kinda creeped me out. Just the fact that this might actually be my last resort makes me all scared inside. My parents think I wan't to off myself. Which isn't a good sign. My Dad stayed home today probably for that reason. But he wont admit it. My parents have been checking on me almost every 20 to 30 minutes. I feel like I'm back in the hospital. Not fun. Atleast it shows that they are concerned for my well being. I have no idea what I have must of said to make them this paranoid. But I'll be better tomorrow. My sister is coming down from college to visit for the night. She has been wanting to play more Rock Band. She's addicted to that game. But anyway I'm off for the night. I'll keep you all updated on what's going on.

My Spring Break And Some Some Stuff I Bought.

This Spring Break has been good and bad. The good is I saw the Charlotte checkers in the playoffs in the ECHL. I have some video. So get ready for some video! The bad is that I haven't really done anything great or done anything with anyone. Part of that is due to the fact that either my buddies are in the service and I have no idea what they are up to. Also my other friend is in Boot Camp. So I'm really the only one still left out of my group of friends still here. I also f***ed up this break. I didn't go down to my grandpas grave down in Greenwood, SC. I just coudn't do it. I feel like a complete rat b******. I don't know, I'm just in kind of a rut. To be completely honest I'm actually scared to graduate this year. But I have thought about the future some more this break. I think I might want to do something with helping out. With what? I have no idea. But there seems to be to much BS floating around in this world and I feel like I need to help clean up. By "clean up" I mean to soften the blow to the social society. I hope that made some sense. But this break hasn't gone to waste. I actually read a book called "Go Ask Alice" by Anonymous. I actually finished this book in the store. It was so good that I actually bought it. I probably read it again very soon. "Go Ask Alice" is about a girls diary and it deals with the downfall of a fifteen-year-old American girl and her journals over the course of two years and a few days. It's very dark, but very inspiring and shows how society hasn't really changed over the years. Here is the cover art.

So go pick it up. I also went out and bought some DVDs.

I bought Hitman. I still really enjoy this movie.

I bought Final Fantasy: Spirits Within. I used to have this on VHS. I actually love this movie. Yes I know it has noting in common with Final Fantasy!

I then bought Starship Troopers for a laugh. The last time I saw this was when I was 11. That was 7 years ago. I just found myself laughing through the whole thing. Still great though. But great in a different way...Like a late night vibe way.

I then grabbed I Am Legend. Holy cow that movie is great! Just go watch it.

I also finally went out and bought 2 CDs. I bought OK Go and Streetlight Manifestos new CD

Well I'm off to go to the gas station down the road.

After my 18 years of existence I have been brought up with two bands through my whole life. These may or may not be a shocker. I say this because I mostly listen to Punk, Metal and Ska. After years of growing I still go to these two bands...I don't know why either. The first band is Hootie And The Blow Fish. Ever since I was child my mom had their tapes and CDs playing all the time. Even though I don't think my life goes along with their lyrics what so ever, I still have them on my Zune. My mom updates me when they come out with new songs and such. I'm actually listening to them right now. Right now I'm listening to "Time". But I think the reason I still like this band is because of the times I remember their songs being in the background. The other band I'm totally going to blame on my sister. My sister is a huge Dave Matthews Band fan. She has been to tons of their concerts. But I always despised this band. don't know why though. After years of her playing it I find myself singing along when they come on the radio. I even went to the extreme to stealing my sisters CDs to download them to my Zune just to get a fix of them. Don't ask why... But I find myself trying to fight back from singing along, but some how the lyrics come out of my lungs. D*** YOU SIS! Every time I sing the more I think "DEAR GOD I'M BECOMING ONE OF THEM!" By them I mean those weird stoners that some how flock to those concerts. I can smell the hemp clothing from far away. The horror! Anyway that was a rather weird blog.

I write this because I'm still not asleep

So it's 5:30 in the morning and I still haven't feel asleep. But it was a good day. I went to another Charlotte Checkers game. The Checkers won 4-2. I'll also be going to todays game at 7:30 PM. Double dose of hockey for the win! I also watched Hitman the movie. It actually wasn't all that bad. I'll probably go buy it soon. I like how they actually used stuff from the game in the movie. I also noticed the kids in the movie were playing Hitman. I was all like "Lolerskates!" But enough of that. Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is good. That'll probably be my new online fix for awhile. Also the Army Of Two multiplayer is super boring! I found myself just pulling out my pistol and going rambo just to make the game fun. I also tried pushing all the buttons at once to see if my guy would commit suicide. I thought if I'm having this much bordom then this in game character must want to off himself. Wow that was kinda dark... But I'll be probably passed out for two days straight from exustion from these two days. So you might not hear from me for awhile. On a side note I would just like to say to all the people who don't cover their mouth when they cough just tick me off. So I was at the doctors office picking up my meds and stuff. I sat down then some lady sat right next to me. I wouldn't have minded her sitting there if she wasn't coughing in my face! Every time she coughed she would turn and look at my face and cough. I could actually feel myself getting sick. So now I have some weird throat gunk problem going on right now. It makes me sound like some late night DJ just trying to make it through the night. But seriously people this women could have turned her head the other way and coughed into an empty spot where no one was sitting. She coughed in my face like four times. Well anyway I'm off to try to go to sleep. Goodnight everyone...or good day?

I have idea where that topic title came from... Today my good friend came back from the Army. We hung out and played some awesome Rock Band sessions. Then we played some Frontlines Fuel Of War matches. Then later on today we might go see Funny Games. My sister also stopped by which was nice. She headed out to the beach for her 21st B-Day and it's on St. Patricks Day. Lucky her... I also just figured out I have a weird fascination with the song "Celebrity Skin" from Hole. I have no idea why though. It's just fun to play. Maybe because of the over drive in the song. Ad some echo and wah-wah to the song and it is beast. Try it! I'm off to go do something...like throwing away old VHS tapes.

I found something that disturbed me today. It's something so ignorant that I feel dragged through the mud. I'm a very open person when it comes to my disorder with Bipolar. But this type of stuff makes me want to be silent and never speak.

I was reading "A Brotherhood Of Tyrants" and this came straight from the book itself. "What drove them all Hitler Napoleon, and Stalin) to power, enabled them to gain it, and carried them beyond reason was precisely the same disorder - manic depression - which in all three cases manifested itself in startlingly similar ways. Hitler Napoleon, and Stalin's rise to power and subsequent behavior was driven by their manic depression."

First of all how would you feel being lumped into the same category as Hitler and Stalin just because you have manic depression? By the way this was written back in 1994. So not to long ago some ignorant a** had this idea. This just shows the boundaries we still face. This is also why people aren't up front with their disorder. So my hat is off to you author for making this disorder harder to live with. You also get a 1up for putting me right next to Hitler What a complete a**. I just thought I would just share you this ignorant piece of junk for you all to open some eyes.

Liquefied Tool Hands....revisited...again.

If you've read my GameSpot blog for some time you know I have been trying to push through making a book called Liquefied Tool Hands. This was originally a full on project. Then I hit some kinda wall and couldn't write anymore of a story. It's a love hate relationship with me writing this short story or book. I then later moved onto a blog/book called "A War Journal" which was based on my Bipolar. That was short lived after I had multiple hospital visits. So now I sit here again looking at this story again. This morning around 4:45 or 5:00 o'clock this morning I popped out of bed with my mind set just right. I think I'm getting back on the horse with this book. I noticed my passion for writing was still there. So I pumped out a short 2 paragraphs and then I thought that I should leave it there for now. If you want to know more about Liquefied Tool Hands you'll have to look deep in my blogs. But that being said I thought I would give you another taste of the book/maybe short story again. Please tell me what you think!

"But they were the same puddles in the same potholes in the street. I see my reflection as I pass the puddles. I become big and small then tall in a matter of a block according to the puddles.

Then a ringing sound goes off. I noticed it was my phone. I forgot I even had a phone because no one calls it. The caller ID said "Unknown" so I just let it ring. With every ring I felt kinda dizzy. I started to stagger. I then don't remember anything else, just me flopping into my bed. I just remember dreaming and hearing bangs. I then slowly woke up. I noticed my TV was on. It was on MSNBC chatter in the background. I then looked from my bed around the room. I noticed beside my bed my pills were strewn about the floor and the bottle knocked over. I then lay back down and asked my self what the f*** is going on? Self-medication maybe? I then hear on the TV the anchorwoman saying, "Well it's the top of 12:00 o'clock here" All I could think was why? WHY?WHY F'ing WHY? I look down at my phone on the floor besides the knocked over pill bottle and it says I have 5 missed calls. Surprise! They are all from work. Great.... I then throw on my cloths from last night and walked out to go to work. Hair still scuffed up from some gnarly bed head. I walk the same beaten path back to work. All the puddles now dried up. I pass Star Bucks again with some person doing an acoustic version of the song "White Rabbit" by Jeffersons Airplane. People aren't bothering me anymore. What is bothering me is that I have no idea what happened last night. I'm still walking; bumping into suits saying sorry every time in a low voice. I feel like I'm walking with no direction except straight. I feel lost..."

"I WANNA ROCK!" ... Band

How it started…

I got an urgent call from a friend two days ago saying "DUDE! COME OVER NOW!" I drove over in my truck and came upon Rock Band. I knew the people who brought us Guitar Hero made this. I was never a Guitar Hero fan. So I was hesitant. I walked upon the drums and was amazed. After playing with my buddy for about 3 hours straight I got hooked. That night I actually went out and pulled out my cash to buy it. I brought it home and set it up. (Which was surprisingly easy) I put in the disc and started to rock out more…and more…and more. My sister came home from college and then looked at me playing the guitar (Head banging and all). She then was interested and created a character. She picked up the guitar and played, while I was playing the drums. Then I noticed that us playing was more then team work. It was unity in rhythm. Rock Band just makes sense. My Mom then walked in and sat down. My Mom watched us for about 2 hours playing. This is why Rock Band won a "Family Game Award" at Dice or IAA awards. I can't remember which one. This is the way games should be played…Unity by rhythm.

The band name...

I named my band Twisted Riot Force. No surprise there. I made a cool banner for the band. I'm still working out all the kinks. I'll try to post the banner up on my next blog.

My character…

I made a cool character. I'll post what my character looks like and what guitars I'm using in my next blog.
