So the last time I was in the Bay Area visiting my family, I was talking to my older brother and I told him about my genius idea for the Big Balls compilation album (yes, I still think it's funny!). He thought it was pretty amusing as well, and then he mentioned that had the Dirty Deeds album when it first came out in the U.S. and he used to play that record all the time when I was really little. Well, I was Thunderstruck! No pun intended, of course, heh heh. Perhaps that explains my bizarre obsession with that song, it's embedded in my earliest childhood memories! Also I just think it's hilarious and I'm still amused to no end at the idea of any of my favorite bands attempting to play that song with straight faces. Hey! Perhaps if I learned how to play an instrument myself, say, like an accordion or something, I could play the song myself and maybe some of the bands I love would let me open for them! Yeah! Or even better, I could learn to play a whole bunch of instruments, like Prince, and play the song on every instrument I can think of. Keyboard, accordion, bagpipes, the sky's the limit! I'm gonna be so cool...
