Bio
Cynthia, the daughter of a New Jersey stockbroker, and Annmarie, the daughter of an Irish race car driver, first became acquainted with each other in Los Angeles, where they both moved to pursue music and adventure!

During the past few years, they have enjoyed nationwide tours with artists such as the B-52s and The Young Dubliners. The Saucy catalogue has recently shown up on several high profile television shows in the states, including Zoey 101 (starring Britney Spears sister, Jamie Lynn), Veronica Mars, Drake & Josh (TV & film), and MTV. They are featured in the ZOEY 101 compilation album, released by Sony Music and available worldwide.

In between studio sessions, the girls like to discuss their love of amber ale, espresso, Sex and The City and whether or not Annmarie is a better driver than Cynthia, (which, undoubtedly, she is, coz it runs in the family). Saucy is currently working feverishly on their 3rd album.

FACTS THAT YOU PROBABLY COULD LIVE WITHOUT KNOWING.

The girls never travel throughout the U.S.A without Cynthias Chihuahua Toonse (the sweetest little d.o.g. in the world).

The culturally diverse, full band SAUCY MONKY, comprise of members from Ireland, Israel and America.

Cynthia (who produced the last Saucy album), sometimes works with Dave Stewart (from the Eurythmics) on his new projects in Los Angeles.

Annmaries brother Michael (a race car driver) is the current FERRARI 360 European Champion.

Cynthias brother Jeffrey, plays guitar with Hall and Oates.

Annmarie has a small allergy to mints and the sunlight. She sneezes when first exposed to them.

In a rare display of business savvy, Saucy Monkys self owned olivoiL records negotiated joint venture deals with two major indie labels last year in the U.S.A (429 Records/WEA)and the U.K. (Measured Records), to co-release their self-produced album TURBULENCE in those territories.

Cynthia found the name SAUCY MONKY in a book by Tina Brown. The band choose the name coz it's quirky, fun and not boring and serious.

TURBULENCE was first released in Ireland where the band toured extensively to promote it, and played at the famous OXEGEN festival with The Black Eyed Peas, Pink and P.J. Harvey.

Cynthia is banned from driving the tour VAN due to her frequent lapses of attention.
