Bio
Nicholas Slone, born December 10, 1980, is a singer-songwriter from Waverly, Ohio. The solo artist began composing music around the age of 18, producing a variety of acoustic pieces, ranging from hauntingly beautiful ballads to gritty acoustic rock numbers. Slone and friends Joe Keaton and Adam Clausing joined forces to record a demo album in 1999 under the band name Azra-el. Within a few months, Slone left the band to focus on solo endeavors and songwriting. Slone has occasionally collaborated with long-time friend Luke Chamberlain in live performances. In 2004, Slone compiled various tape-recorded songs into his first album, "Songs and More Songs." In the winter of 2006, he joined Keaton to produce the three-song EP "Middle of Winter at Joe's." He plans to release a new full-length self-produced album in 2008.
