Greg Garing Jazz

At age 12 Greg Garing was already performing Ragtime and Stride piano in local honky-tonks when an older friend introduced him to the music of Louis Armstrong. Greg has been listening to and performing Jazz ever since. In the mid 90's Garing began recording and performing with members of New York City's Harlem All Stars. Alumni of such bands as The Count Bassie Sextet, The Lionel Hampton Quartet, The Bill Dogget Trio, Louis Armstrong, Billie Holliday and on and on. On this page you will find recordings Greg has made over the years with legendary Jazz musicians such as: Al Casey, Walter Perkins, David "Bubba" Brooks, Eddie Swanson, Clarence "Tootsie" Bean just to name a few.
