Faithful Henry

Faithful Henry is the product of curiousity gone wild. What happens when you take electronic beats and add a classically trained pianist? What about punk guitar, and euro-pop synthesizers? Take a Violent Femmes and Modest Mouse influenced male vocalist and add poppy but creepy female harmonies? Now what if we put all of this together? Faithful Henry is singer/songwriter/guitarist/electro-experimenter Vlad Baranovsky and pianist/violist/co-electro-conspirator Monica Wulff. After two years, one EP, and a tour as part of San Francisco gypsy rock band Fall In March, the two focused exclusively on their new project without any pre-conceived notion as to the results. The product of the collaboration is a melding of styles and genres that explores the darker side of rock, while never forgetting that ultimately, even goths like to sing along.
