Ambidextrous Octopus! began in 2006 as an experiment in talent and friendship. Both Geoff and Josh started collaborating riffs and skill in a Theatre Room on Summerdale and Josh's garage. Which spawned their first song called 'Pillage and Plunder' in the summer of '06. Continuing on they wrote the likes of 'Bob's Bitch Tits', followed by 'Ubiquitous', one of their more experimental songs.

...Practicing in Geoffs basement to this very day... Song writing has been ten fold more natural. 'Decadent and Depraved' to 'A Cancer to the Enviornment' came swift and vibrant during the spring months of '07.

Thus bringing the oppurtunity to play shows for their AWSOME fans.

Until finally Jordan Capitano, former guitarist of local band 'In August' joined in early July 08. Along with Bill Pataglia, former bassist of 'Cadence'. And Joe Rivera, former vocalist of many bands including 'By Autumns End'.

Yes, we can see that you definitely play MUSIC. GOOD for YOU. You have a clean, tight sound and method that suits you rather well. We DON'T have any pretensions that we are anywhere close to the prestige of your kind. Did you go to art school? We didn't. We are townies. Vyle Kyle in particular does not brush his teeth. Where would we be without all these post-mathcore bands that are clean, tight, and "experimental". Well, sadly we would be stuck with bands like Cunt Punt who are dirty, loose, and "experimental". So, rock n' roll, good buddy and a 10-4!

Hi Guys, good to hear your working on a new set!! Would love to be playing in New York but sadly were based in London so that would be a long commute for us!!! But you never know maybe one day?!?!?! If were ever in New York I'll let you know.
